In retrospect it's not entirely surprising that what the discussion centered around. However, it's not at all the context the idea was being discussed around on the radio this morning (which I didn't mention in the previous post). Radio 4 were more concerned about the tube bombings last year and the fact instructions for creating bombs were readily available over the internet.
Personally, I think if anyone is keen enough to cause that much damage that they're willing to lose their life in doing so, they're going to find a way to do this whatever happens and that censorship would bring all the issues mentioned in the discussions around the poll.
