upsidedown

Weekend

So following the tour of Wood Green stayed over at Clive's and had a day of practice ready for DERT on Saturday.

Spent most of the morning going over stepping with Kate from Camden Clog which was really useful. I'm sure it's helped no end to break it down and think about the whole movement.

The afternoon was spent going through the DERT dance figures, recording them on video and watching them back to see what needed improving. It's certainly coming on now (I'm not actually in the DERT set as I've only really just joined the team, but it's been interesting seeing it come together).

After that Lisa came down for the rest of the weekend :-)

Spent today having a relaxing day in the flat while Lisa did some of her engineering work, which was nice. Went to feed the ducks in South Norwood Country Park (something I keep meaning to do - like the swimming, except they haven't knocked the duck pond down...) before heading up to Kings Cross so Lisa could get her train back to Cambridge.

A Bizarre Form Of Torture...

I chipped one of my front teeth, falling off my bike, when I was about 11 or 12 (or something like that - remember doing it, just not when it was).

When I got back from Kings Cross this evening, I noticed that all the stuff the dentist had used to build it up again has gone... bother!

Tooth now very sensitive. It hurts to drink tea! This must be one of the most bizarre forms of torture someone could have thought up for me...

Going up to Penrith at the end of the week. I'm still registered with my old dentist up there, so I'm hoping to be able to get an appointment with him to get it sorted (probably a lot cheaper than getting it done in London). Must find myself a dentist down here at some point really, but I never get motivated to do so as whenever I go to the Dentist he only tells me to come back for another check up in a year, so tend to still go in Penrith.

In the meantime, guess it's just got to be cold tea drank slowly :-(

How To Make An Omlette?

How do you make an omlette?

Am curious to know how everyone else does it now, as Lisa and I do it in completely different ways.

I also know lots of people who just fry them one side, turn them over and fry the other (pancake style).

What's everyone else do then?
