Only foolish people, or those desperately trying to get into someones knickers ;-) It was Borough Market though, so they're going to be very expensive there anyway. Everything seems to be expensive in Borough, nice, but expensive.

That said I now recall Bacchus did actually buy me a single red rose last year. I sincerely hope he didn't pay that much for it!
