Open Source hmmm_tea

miriammoules's comment on my last post, has made me realise what the DNA testing by 23andMe might actually be useful for.

I could get my DNA analysed, post it on the internet and declare myself open source.

Then anyone could make an hmmm_tea with the right tools* and there would be lots of me all over the world.

Marvelous!

Quite lucky I haven't got a spare $460 to pay for it really...

* - Ok, perhaps that isn't quite true, but don't spoil the dream...

LOL

Open source people... well it's a new suggestion to me! A slightly frightening thought though too (if you don't release it to be open source does that mean it would be alright for people to use your DNA to make parodies of you under Fair Use?)

You want to make a parody of me???

But you've never even met me!

Unless you did it sneakily without me noticing...

Mr Tea?

Gosh, I appear to have turned into one of the cast of the A-Team.

De-d'-de-de do-do-do, etc, etc

I suppose that's genetic manipulation for you...

Got your email.

Not really thought much past Sunday and eportfolios, but might be free. Will check and let you know.
