Transformations

Just spotted this on the bbc website:

Estate of the 70s divided by its future

"Jean Bartlett, 56, chairwoman of the Aylesbury tenants association, has lived here most of her life.

She is optimistic that plans launched by the local authority in 2005 to bulldoze the estate and replace it with a mix of private and rented housing-association properties, will transform it."


erm... yes... demolishing a building and replacing it with something new is normally a bit of a transformation...

I read that as "lived most of her life," which is even more obvious :)

Surely "lived most of her life" would mean she was going to die in the next 55 years?
